Single-Session Therapy is exactly what it sounds like...we approach the first session 'as if' it were going to be the last. In practice, this means that we spend 90 minutes exploring a specific area of your life that you would like to help to deal with. Further sessions are available if needed.
Firstly we have a brief initial phone/Zoom call to discuss your needs. We discuss any preparation that might be useful to do between then and the session. I ask you to complete a questionnaire prior to the session to help us get the most out of our time together. The session itself lasts 90 minutes, after which I will send you a summary of what we have covered. We have a follow-up call about 3 months later to check in on how you are progressing. Interested?
